Noah's decision to take cooking classes came in the most ridiculous, Biblical way imaginable. He had a tupperware container full of microwaved Ramen on his desk during an exceptionally rainy day. Before he could dig into his bowl of salt water and questionable noodles, the sky cleared and light filtered through the only window in his office, illuminating the container. It was a sign from the Heavens that at the age of 35, chicken flavored Ramen and Easy Mac on a daily basis would brine his arteries and surly stop his heart. And, from what he could gather from Katherine Heigl romcoms, single women loved the idea of a man who could cook. ( Alejo, as his best friend, was obligated to pretend to love it as well. )

As Alejo spent more and more time outside of his room or his best friend's office, he was beginning to realise just how many of them there were. "Them" being... people with gifts. He hadn't been allowed to peek in, something for which he was very grateful, as that meant that no one could watch him go through his evaluations as well, but he was sure some of these people had gifts like Dauphine. Some might even have what he had.

Sepphy was awake bright and probably silly levels of early, which was evidenced mostly by the fact that it seemed like she had the place to herself for a while. Which was awesome! It meant she could get rolling on her day quicker than if she had to fight for bathroom space, which was always weird and awkward. No one really wanted to get up in each other's business when they were still putting themselves together in the morning. Or maybe that was her, projecting or something.
